GITAM has developed the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program specifically to meet the explosive growth in healthcare and need for competent Physiotherapists who can work independently or in a team in every setting. GITAM School of Physiotherapy aligns with the curriculum guidelines of the “National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP).” It also provides additional elective courses along with the Curriculum and the required patient exposure for hands-on practice at the on-campus 750-bedded GIMSR hospital.
5-year undergraduate programme including a year of compulsory internship in physiotherapy has been designed to train you to become a world-class physiotherapist who can shift the focus from injury-based recovery to enhancing performance to a globally competitive standard.
