GITAM has developed the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program specifically to meet the explosive growth in healthcare and need for competent Physiotherapists who can work independently or in a team in every setting. Until recently individuals had to study abroad to learn advanced skills in physiotherapy. GITAM has worked to shift this to a reality where you can receive world-class clinical training and practical skill development with a focus on evidence-based practice.
This 4-year undergraduate program in physiotherapy has been designed to train you to become a world-class physiotherapist who can shift their focus from injury-based recovery to enhancing performance to a globally competitive standard. A minimum of 60% or 6.0 CGPA (55% incase of CBSE and ICSE) aggregate marks in the Intermediate or 12th examination from a recognized central / state board or its equivalent with Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English subjects in academic years.
