My experience at GITAM dental college has been delightful till now. It has been 4 years since I joined the college and I have learnt a lot not just academically but in all other aspects of career development. The all time support and motivation of the faculty has enlightened me throughout this journey. The faculty here are highly qualified and they have always come extra mile in explaining the concepts in such a simplified version and using real life examples where the learning becomes more interesting.The best thing about GITAM dental college is tremendous exposure to patients that constantly enlightens our practical skill. I am extremely thankful for the management to introduce mentor mentee program that was very helpful for me. It's worth mentioning about the workshops that are being conducted at GITAM dental college ,that enhances the subject knowledge. Apart from academics, our college also provides many engaging activities as culturals, sports,etc. The infrastructure of our college is amazing. I am grateful for the opportunities I had at our college to work with cutting edge technology and learnt from experienced professionals. GITAM dental college also has Anti ragging committee that is helpful for the freshers. I am studying in final year now. I am privileged to say that this college is a great platform for anyone who is willing to start their journey in dentistry. I'm grateful for all the opportunities that the college has offered that had helped not just academically but also in all-round development of the student. The college has a facility of library which has all the standard textbooks, journals, research papers which is accessible to all the students.The faculty here, help the students understand all the concepts from the basics. And coming to the work atmosphere, the pre-clinical work is taught with utmost care. The clinical work is done under the guidance of experienced clinicians.The students not only get to treat a good number of patients but also learn to deal with different clinical scenarios. This improves clinical skills and also makes one confident. The college is well equipped with latest diagnostic and investigative aids. All the advancements in this field are explained to us through many conferences and workshops. Thorough hands-on sessions are conducted that help us understand better.The mentorship I recieve from my professors and peers at my college are helping me become better everyday. I feel honoured that i got the chance to be a part of this course and college. There are also community services that help us reach out to people and help in creating awareness about oral health. Almost 125 camps are conducted in association with various NGOs in and around Visakhapatnam High preclinical and clinical exposure with high patient flow . State of the art technology with well maintained dental equipment in all departments.

I completed final year of my bachelor’s degree in Dentistry and persuing my career in Dentistry.
